Veterans: Resist Genocide in Gaza!
Take Action September 17-18 and beyond!
- The U.S./Israeli genocide in Gaza is reaching a breaking point with escalating massacres, bombings, forced-starvation, and mass-displacement.
The people of Gaza need our support and our urgent action more than ever. While global leaders do nothing, a global citizens’ movement is gaining steam, and Veterans For Peace is onboard.
Support the Global Sumud Flotilla as it approaches Gaza. Veterans are among those sailing under threat of violence to deliver urgently needed food and aid.
- Read VFP member Phil Tottenham’s letter from the Veterans’ Boat on the flotilla.
- And now Sixteen Nations are Calling for Safe Passage for the Flotilla. VFP will be mobilizing in the event these global citizens are attacked by Israel.
- Be prepared to take action, from calling your elected officials to street protests and direct action at complicit government, military and corporate locations. Connect with local peace and solidarity organizations who are prepared to act.
- You can track the Gaza flotilla’s progress on the high seas in real time here.
- The tides are turning. United Nations leaders gather in New York this week where activists from around the world are pressuring the body to take immediate action to stop the genocide. Follow Lifeline for Palestine and contact the U.N. Mission here.
- We ask everybody to go the extra mile at this critical moment. As VFP member Phil Tottenham wrote from the Veterans Boat on the Gaza flotilla.

All the while, state repression is targeting activists in the U.S. who are taking a stand against the Gaza genocide and ICE attacks in our communities. Zahid Chaudhry, a longtime VFP member from Pakistan, was kidnapped by ICE at his Citizenship Hearing, and is currently in ICE detention. Take action to support Zahid
