Drones Quilt Project Exhibit Needs Hosts

December 03, 2014

The Drones Quilt Project was created to raise awareness about the illegal and immoral use of weaponized drones by the United States, which are responsible for the deaths of thousands of people, primarily in Pakistan and Afghanistan.  Each block of the quilts bears the name of a drone victim and was created by a different individual.

The Drones Quilt Project exhibit has been seen by thousands as it has traveled around the country for the the past 18 months, visiting 20 cities, and the last two VFP conventions. VFP is a sponsoring organization of the DQP which received a Zinn grant last year.

What we need now are people to step up as hosts for the exhibit.  The 2015 calendar is wide open for booking the exhibit.  Please contact Leah Bolger at leahbolger@comcast.net, 541-207-7761, or check the DQP website for more details about hosting the exhibit.
