SAVE the DATE MARCH 15th
The rally at the Iowa Air National Guard 132nd Attack Wing(3100 McKinley Ave, Des Moines) will be on Saturday, March 15th, from 10AM to 11:15 AM.
The rally, led by the Veterans for Peace Chapter #163 (Des Moines) and the Des Moines Catholic Worker, will feature Kathy Kelly, Elliott Adams, and Daniel Hale. Kelly, a leader of Voices for Creative Non-Violence and Adams, former VFP president, are well known to many Iowans. Daniel Hale was in the US armed forces in Afghanistan, and was a specialist involved in armed drone strikes.
The rally will include over 100 Catholic Workers from throughout the Midwest, Veterans for Peace from Iowa and other states, and peace-makers (YOU) from many organizations and communities in Iowa.
