Veterans For Peace invites you to save the date for our annual convention August 25th-28th! Make sure to mark that date in your calendars!
This year’s convention will also be held online. The last few years have been learning experiences but also a huge success with increased attendance and the opportunity to hear from speakers around the globe. We are also happy that hundreds of our members and guests can join us in gathering without the environmental impacts of traveling. We continue to be cautious regarding the pandemic and want to create as many organizing opportunities that keep people safe and healthy.
The Convention Committee is excited to announce our theme this year is From War Making to Peace Seeking, a theme that is more relevant than ever.
The Committee is busy at work thinking through plenary speakers and everything that goes into creating a great experience for our members. We are hoping to repeat the success we had in creating opportunities for connecting in social ways and discussion rooms as well and we appreciate all the time folks took in filling out our evaluation form last year.
We will be updating the website in the coming months with more information, which will include options on how to learn and navigate the convention technology. We will do our best to make sure that everyone who wants to participate will be able to have the technological support needed. Stay tuned for more details!
