On March 19, Chapter 100 held a rally in front of the Alaska State Capitol, noting the anniversary of the invasion of Iraq and urging that no such war be brought to Iran. A similar rally was held in the afternoon, during our town's after work "rush hour."
They capped off the day with a one-hour program on the local public radio station. We read a portion of the tremendous 1995 script, What I Heard About Iraq, and used that meme to convey the chronology of the push for war in Iran, and then interviewed a local college history professor on whether there are parallels between the Iraq war of choice and what we seem to be heading into in Iran. --- Phil Smith
