Conscientious Resistance Working Group

Conscientious Resistance Working Group (formerly GI Resistance)

The Conscientious Resistance Working Group (formerly GI Resistance) actively supports service members who are questioning or resisting military actions. This working group provides resources and training in outreach and peer support, while strengthening networks and creating resources to assist those taking a stand - during or after their time in uniform. Whether a service member is refusing unlawful orders, challenging the mission they’re part of, or developing a conscientious objection to war, the Conscientious Resistance Working Group offers direct, engaged support, and ensures that no one has to face these courageous choices alone.
