The Veterans For Peace Open Mic will take place every Friday from 8pm-12am CST live from the VFP Facebook page and YouTube channel. Selected artists will receive 7-10 minutes to share their music with a live audience. Artists are welcome to share pre-recorded videos or tune in and perform live (with prior approved soundcheck). Below you will find all the information you need in order to send in a submission and be one of our featured artists!
How do I submit?
Once you have reviewed our submission requirements below, please email your MP3 or MP4 to submitmusic@veteransforpeace.org.
What performances will be considered?
- All genres of music are welcome to submit
- Instrumental compositions are welcome as well
- Spoken Word only selections are also welcome to submit
Submission Requirements:
- All submissions must be in the form of mp3 or mp4 to be considered
- All submissions must be at least one complete song the artist is planning to share
- All submissions must be the artist's creation, no covers will be considered
All submissions will be subject to a review process to ensure the artists and the music align with the mission of Veterans For Peace. We are seeking artists with a sense of connection to the Earth, communities and the promise of a habitable, peaceful planet in for the future generations to inherit.
Once an artist has been selected and approved they do not have to submit for future performances but the performance list will always operate on a first come first serve basis, with a limit of 15 artists per show.
