NEWS ADVISORY: Local veterans to honor 288 fallen Southern California brothers and sisters on Memorial Day
On Monday, May 27th, 2019, (Memorial Day), the San Diego Veterans For Peace will be setting up its respected "Hometown Arlington West Memorial" on the front lawn of the USS Midway Museum, 910 N. Harbor Drive, near the corner of Broadway, in downtown San Diego.
Belltower Memorial to be Raised on National Mall Memorial Day Weekend
This Memorial Day weekend on the National Mall, the public is invited to add inscriptions to a 24-ft-tall touring Memorial, the Swords to Plowshares Memorial Belltower.
Veterans Honor Victims of War in Memorial Day Activities
Veterans For Peace will be in Washington D.C. on Monday, May 28th, to hold their annual "Letters to the Wall" at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, hold a peace ceremony at the Korean War Veterans Memorial and host a touring memorial, The Swords to Plowshares Belltower.
