Bylaw 2022-10: Allow All Members to Vote on Bylaw Amendments

Bylaw amendment objective: Would allow all members–including Associate (non-veteran) Members to vote on bylaw amendments. Currently, only full members are eligible to do so. Note: A two-thirds vote is required to change a bylaw.

 

ARTICLE X. MEMBERSHIP MEETING
Section 3.

All Only Full members may vote on bylaw amendments.

 

ARTICLE XIV. AMENDMENT OF BYLAWS

Proposed amendments to these Bylaws must be submitted in writing to the Board of Directors at least thirty (30) days prior to the next Annual Convention in order to be presented for consideration by the membership at said convention. All members in good standing shall be eligible to vote on bylaw amendments. A two-thirds (2/3) vote of the Full Members shall constitute full ratification.
