On Thursday 12/18 members of VFP26 were featured on panels in the U.S. History classes at Chicago Vocational Career Academy on the south side of Chicago. We had an active interchange with the students on war and the effects of militarization on society. Shown in the picture are Rory Fanning (he's joining us as soon as he finds his DD214. He was an Army Ranger and became a CO after he returned from Afghanistan. He knew Pat Tillman and is still in touch with Kevin Tillman. He just published his book, "Worth Fighting For"), me, Rob Lamont, and Sabrina Waller. Not shown in this picture but also participating were Steve Nelson and Ed White.
