Peaceful Alternatives to Conflict

The Kurt Vonnegut Library and Veterans For Peace Chapter 49
invite war veterans and local youth in the Indianapolis area
to join a discussion group on the causes of and peaceful solutions to military conflicts
during the Spring of 2015.

The purpose of the discussion group is to pair war veterans and local youth,
discuss readings about war experiences,
and explore peaceful alternatives to resolving conflict as we look into the future.

We will read literary works written by those who have fought in wars,
and meet monthly to share insights about
the causes of war and constructive solutions to addressing conflicts.

We ask that participants commit to reading the selected works
and participating in the discussion group during the Spring of 2015,
as indicated in the attached notice.
