Be a part of this growing movement!

Veterans For Peace is a global organization of Military Veterans and allies whose collective efforts are to build a culture of peace by using our experiences and lifting our voices. We inform the public of the true causes of war and the enormous costs of wars, with an obligation to heal the wounds of wars. Our network is comprised of over 140 chapters worldwide whose work includes: educating the public, advocating for a dismantling of the war economy, providing services that assist veterans and victims of war, and most significantly, working to end all wars.

Who Can Join Veterans For Peace?

Veteran Members: Veterans For Peace includes veterans from all eras and tours of duty. Our membership is open to veterans from all countries and service backgrounds. All veteran members must submit proof of military service to have voting rights on VFP business matters and strategic objectives each year.

Associate Members: In addition to veteran members, a select group of our allies in peace join as Associate Members. While these members do not vote on VFP business issues or hold Board of Director positions, they are crucial in carrying out the mission of peace and justice.

How Much Does Membership Cost?

Basic membership is $40, to be paid anually to the national office. There is a $25 Assisted Membership for those who may need it. For active duty members, dues are waived for the first year of membership. Additionally, scholarships are available for members in need to help with membership dues. Please contact National Office for more information about these options.
