Bayard Stockton
Bayard is one of the finest characters and gentlemen I've known. He was a member of Santa Barbara's chapter and involved as one of the founding group establishing Arlington West.
Bayard was a Korean War vet; retired CIA analyst; a publicist; educator; and grounded progressive dedicated to shifting our nation's culture away from militarism and imperialism.
He will be sorely missed by those of us fortunate enough to have had his wise counsel and friendship. He inspired all who knew and worked with him as a man of peace, humor and wisdom! He could find sardonic humor in anything, and the inspiration to keep true to one's passion for peace, justice and human workability in the damndest circumstances, always finding an opening to move the action forward with quiet dignity, presence and a smile.
