Call to Action to stop the war and escalation in Afghanistan

DAYS OF DECISION DECEMBER 1-6
You've no doubt seen our "Call to Action" to oppose the war in Afghanistan and Obama's likely decision to escalate it.
Initially, we thought the "pre-decision" protests would have to be organized immediately. Now it looks like we have enough time to concentrate our actions over a common period of time.
So we're designating December 1-6 as Days of Decision, asking that you hold a "pre-decision" action during one of those days. If you've done one already, consider another. And remember the "Call to Action" includes holding public protest(s) within two days following a decision to escalate the war.
TO BE CLEAR -- Veterans For Peace defines "escalation" as one additional troop, one additional mercenary, one additional squad of drones.
Please join in the activities for the Days of Decision, December 1-6. Plan protests for immediately after a decision to escalate is announced. And tell the national office what you have planned.
